Doug Storey received his Bachelor of Science in Geology from Baylor University and has applied that to over 30 years of work in the petroleum industry, environmental industry, and the government sector. He has worked as a geologist, environmental scientist, and project manager coordinating endeavors as diverse as urban environmental site assessments to superfund projects. He currently directs the regulatory and environmental activities for a major oil company in Houston, Texas. When not in the “field”, Doug can be seen training local runners, volunteering at his son’s sporting events, and enjoying a relaxing view from his campsite in Big Bend National Park.
